USC vs UCLA

Lightning in a bottle 2 years in a row for UCLA? I think not. There are no surprises this year, UCLA isn’t the same team, the defense isn’t playing as well as it was last year and USC is playing the best football it has all year at the right time. People will say, did you see what the Bruins did to Oregon? Continue reading

Cowboys vs Packers in retrospect….

First of all, let me start off by saying that I’m a die hard Cowboys fan but I’m going to attempt a post-game reaction without being biast. Watching that game made me realize that the Cowboys are easily the best team in the NFC and dismantled what appeared to be the 2nd best team in the NFC. Continue reading

Best Team in the NFC

Last night was the clash of the NFC titans.  The 10-1 Dallas Cowboys and the 10-1 Green Bay Packers.  There were a lot of expectation at the beginning of the year in regards to the Cowboys, but I doubt anyone thought they would have this good of a start.  Their only loss coming from the undefeated New England Patriots.  The Packers on the other hand looked like they were heading into another dismal season, prompting Brett Favre to “retire” once again.  How times have  changed.  This game would prove to be a GREAT indicator of the NFC championship game. Packers? or Cowboys?

Tonight the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys will play what will probably be “the best game of the year” so far.  This may even be the best game of the entire season, depending on if anyone gives the Patriots a challenge.  Both teams have extremely dangerous offenses and both defenses have shown their strength this year as well.  Will the young Romo out sling his boyhood hero?  Or will the experience and poise of Brett Favre overcome the Cowboys.  Lets take a look. Baseball’s Off-Season

The winter meetings are coming up next week, and there should a couple big names on the move by week’s end.  The Miguel Cabrerra and Johan Santana talks are by far the most interesting development this off-season.  At least now that Alex Rodriguez is back in pinstripes.  The teams that are said to be the front runners in the Cabrerra sweepstakes are also said to be in the race for the services of baseball’s best pitcher.  Beyond those two TRADES there are still a couple quality free agents out there that should be looking for a team very soon,  Andruw Jones, and Aaron Rowand just to name a few.  Where will they end up? What I Learned From Week 12 in the NFL

Another Thanksgiving has come and gone, and there is still left over turkey and stuffing in my refrigerator.  I had a lot to be thankful for this year, and spent my holiday reminding myself of that.  From being thankful for family to being thankful when the Green Bay game was finally over.  Any way I looked at it, it was a great season.  So what was learned this week in football?  A lot if you ask me.  Continue reading

Ricky Williams a Dolphin again!

Tonight in the Steel City Ricky Williams will make his Miami Dolphins debut………….again.  After briefly retiring, and after living in a tent teaching Yoga, and failing a drug test again for marijuana, he will suit up tonight and not only play, but most likely bet the bulk of the carriers for the Miami offense.  There was much speculation if he would ever play in the NFL again.  There was even more speculation is the NFL would allow Ricky Williams to play again in their organization.  But all that can be put to rest now, cause football fans Ricky Williams is back. Continue reading
