Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare

This is going to be a little change of pace from my normal posts.  However I do feel it is right to give credit where credit is due.  I’m not sure how many of you play first person shooters, but if you do Call of Duty 4 is a MUST HAVE.  I recently traded in my old Xbox and PS2 and picked up Xbox 360 and COD 4.  I haven’t stopped playing it since.  This was my first introduction to online gaming and I thoroughly enjoy it.  There is nothing better than coming home from a long day of work and shooting some people online.  It calms the soul, releases all the build up tension from your day, and can be enjoyed over and over again. NFL Odds? Nah, Just My Opinion

Well another week has passed and gone in the NFL, and the up-coming week brings some decent games and of-course Christmas.  So first of all Merry Christmas and a happy week 16.  Week 15 brought us the Miami Dolphins first win of the season.  Yes it is true, you read it correct.  The Patriots still found a way to win, despite the weather in Foxboro.  Cleveland and Buffalo played a game in snow that was something to watch.  The Tampa Bay Bucs ran back there first kickoff in the teams history.  So there were a lot of exciting things over  this past weekend, and looking ahead I can see more some exciting things.  So here we go with the week 16 breakdown in the NFL. Looking forward to the 2008 Dodgers….

Needless to say, 2007 was not a great year for Dodger baseball. However, looking into 2008 based on where we stand at the moment is pretty promising. Continue reading

Blame Jessica Simpson

Did anyone miss the Cowboy game this weekend?  If so, I feel sorry for you.  Tony Romo had the worst game of his career……… possibly.  I think this was worse than him messing up the snap last year.  I personally am a Raider fan, but I have Romo on my fantasy team, so this drew some concern from me and made me think.  I couldn’t figure out why he had such a bad game.  Then it hit me.  Blame Jessica Simpson.  Why did she have to be at the game that day.  Worse yet, why couldn’t Romo wait till after Sunday’s game to tax her?  There is no need for him to do her the night before, or that morning.  Lesson learned for a young QB. Welcome Back Breakdown

I apologize for not keeping the weekly breakdown up to par.  There has been so much going on in the sports world, that it is frying my brain.  Today the Mitchell Report was released regarding his steroid investigation.  The Cavs finally won a game, and LeBron had to come off of the bench to save them.  The BCS system is still making me angry as well.  But all of that aside lets get right into the Week 15 breakdown. Blueprint for defeating the Patriots?

Really? Such a thing exists? I think not. The Patriots are 13-0 this year. That means there is no blueprint for beating the Patriots. Rodney Harrison said it best, we haven’t lost yet so keep bringing the same blueprint. I thought that was perfect. Keep in mind, I’m a Cowboys fan and I can’t stand the Patriots. So, all that teams have right now is a blueprint for things you can hopefully do to disrupt the Patriots and Continue reading

Pick Your Poison

Lets get on the topic of the Cowboys offense. Much like the Patriots offense, the problem with trying to scheme against them is so difficult because there are just SO MANY weapons at their disposal. Lets list the playmakers, keep in mind, some are greater  than others but nonetheless need to be accounted for. Continue reading
